Timeless Gems was established by Kim E. Hurlbert G.G., F.G.A. in 1985. Kim is proud to design and manufacture in the United States. 

Her collections mix and match so that a fine jewelry wardrobe can be built upon throughout a lifetime. Fine jewelry is truly the ultimate accessory and nothing compliments beautiful clothing more perfectly than her classic designs.  Timeless Gem Designs is known for their fine gemstone carvings that are carved by master carvers in Germany and then designed and finished in the United States.  We have an amazing collection of unique designs that feature naturally colored diamonds, used in a painterly way, as well as fine colored gemstones handmade in interesting and unusual designs. In addition, Kim features an extensive collection of Antique Chinese Mother-of-Pearl Gambling Counters set in 14K yellow gold. These original gaming counters, all between 150 and 250 years old are made of mother-of-pearl and were hand engraved by Chinese artisans for the British nobility. Timeless Gem Designs are typically based on classic themes or motifs from nature but with an updated, fresh attitude.  These designs are truly wearable works of art. 

Kim is a 1977 graduate of the Gemological Institute of America with a G.G. degree. She also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York as a Jewelry Design major with an emphasis on Jewelry and Art History. In 1982, she achieved her F.G.A. degree from the Gemological Association of Great Britain in London, England.
